Classic Shaker-style kitchen in Caerwys
A beautiful bespoke fitted shaker style kitchen and Island hand painted in classically elegant warm grey tones. Oak features throughout this sheme to give touches of luxury country style to the kitchen
The end of the island has a raised Oval Oak worktop fitted with downlights on the underside to light up a handcrafted Oak cone. The cone provides support for the worktop above and is also a focal point of the kitchen's seating area.
The Lacanche range cooker has storage units on either side and a bespoke contrasting extraction canopy bridging countertop cupboard above. The Canopy has a decorative Oak mantle shelf for decoration and a bronze antique mirrored splashback. The mixture of materials throughout the space gives a sophisticated multi-material finish.
Countertop storage units sit upon a dark figurative granite, both base and countertop units’ curve around the room's corner, and the returning elevation configured similarly to a dresser style - with drawers and a central glazed cabinet to display glassware. Oak was chosen as the countertop to tie into the bursts of Oak featured around the room. The dresser base and top curve back towards the wall to give a mirrored finish on both sides.
On the opposite side of the room, there are full-height units including a large larder cupboard lined in Oak with Oak spice racks.
Bi-folding countertop doors open and fold back revealing an oak-lined cabinet with cathedral-arched Oak serving hatch doors that open into the dining room. Integrated Miele Fridge and Freezer are included within the tall cabinets.
The Island, hand-painted in charcoal is fitted with integrated appliances throughout. Kohler cast iron sink with Perrin & Rowe Boiling hot water tap and Miele integrated dishwasher make light work of tidying up. Fisher Paykel fridge drawers keep chilled supplies close by and ready to prep on the large work surface. The dark granite with light-coloured veining throughout finished with an Ogee profile edge ties in beautifully with the cabinet paint colours.
